Wellmade Uniforms was started in 2014 by Amy and Tony Brading after acquiring Volunteers in Uniform – a hospital owned business specializing in Volunteer Smocks dating back to the original “Candy Stripers.” Wellmade Uniforms expanded its line of uniforms offered to include polo shirts, scrubs, lab coats, work pants and even medical accessories – all used daily throughout the healthcare industry.

Wellmade Uniforms has its own apparel label and is proud to manufacture its uniforms in Oakland, California, making Wellmade Uniforms one of a handful of small businesses offering “American Made” uniforms.
